Patrice Audette

Patrice Audette is the PR + Social Media Coordinator for East Fork Pottery based in Asheville, NC.

We were so excited to hear about your new promotion at East Fork! Can you tell us a bit about your connection to that work?

As the new PR/Social Media Coordinator I am being taken out of my comfort zone and challenged in a way that I have been craving. I’m super grateful for the opportunity to grow with such a wonderful company!

We've been craving hearty winter stews and crushing a lot of cabbage pancakes this month. Are there any particular recipes or dishes you find yourself cycling through right now?

Lots of ramen! My husband and I are vegan and luckily he is an amazing cook. He makes the absolute best ramen loaded with vegetables, fried tofu, and homemade broth!

What have you been doing lately to keep yourself inspired creatively?

I sew in my spare time, so I love scrolling Etsy for new patterns and following other sewists on instagram for inspiration.

February was a pretty cozy month full of cotton layers and house slippers, honestly. Now we're in that pre-Spring style evolution where we're starting to reach for warmer weather pieces. Can you give us a few words to describe your style this season?

I am so ready for spring! I run cold most of the time, so I love to layer up to make sure I stay warm. I’m looking forward to wearing lots of fun bright colors and bold jewelry!

Would you care to share either a show you've been really into or a great film you've seen recently?

Rupauls Drag Race is great for a competition/reality tv fix. I also love the show Good Trouble, it hits so many important and relevant topics while also being entertaining.

Looking for all the recommendations for bringing on the brightness. What is something - a habit, a product, a routine, a snack - that puts some extra pep in your step?

Doing my makeup every morning brings me a lot of joy. It’s an act of self care that is also meditative and allows me to be creative. Having a fresh manicure also makes me feel very powerful.

Styling a black bodysuit with her own jeans, Patrice perfectly coordinates with shelves full of pottery in East Fork's seasonal color: Black Mountain.

Beautiful Western NC views in a lilac bralette and lilac high waist set.
